Entertainment Weekly declares,
"…online videos are changing the way Hollywood does
business."
This witty group, composed of actors, writers and production crew is
committed to producing top-quality comedy shorts. Their hilarious videos
are approaching four million first-time hits on web portals such as
YouTube, Super Deluxe, Funny or Die and others. Radio stations and
television shows across the planet are featuring the videos on home
pages and licensing the characters for broadcast.
According to YouTube.com more than 100 million videos are viewed on the
site every 24 hours and approximately 65,000 videos are uploaded daily.
Recently Very Angry Neighbors was named "YouTube Star of
Month" and "YouTube Star of the Moment" by G4 Network.
Other honors include Most viewed, Top Rated, Most Discussed, Most
Linked, Top Favorites and #1 Comedy.
YouTube
has featured VAN's videos as the Editor's top comedy pick several times and
VAN was also recently named by YouTube and Panasonic as a "Best
Comedy" on the site and Hollywood is taking notice:
The group has been featured in vignettes on Good Morning America, Inside
Edition and actor Ryan O'Quinn has been featured a number of times on
Bravo's "Outrageous and Contagious Viral Videos" that
showcases the most popular downloaded videos around the world.
The television series "Attack of the Show" has featured Very
Angry Neighbors on various segments and interviewed cast members live on
the air.
Unlike traditional television that is
based on Nielsen ratings and relies on network executives to determine
the fate of the television series, the new tendency is toward consumer
chosen content. –Entertainment Weekly
