Studios at Westlake is a full-service production and post-production group in Westlake Village that specializes in film, television and music production, development and acquisition at Damascus Road Productions; music production including composition, recording, mixing and mastering under the Ampleffied Studio West banner; and Craig Shoemaker’s Really Big Shoe Media.
Damascus Road was founded by Ryan O’Quinn and relocated to Westlake Village in late 2016 following his last theatrical film release “BELIEVE” from Sony Pictures and Smith Global Media. Owners Ryan and Heather O’Quinn desired to expand to a state-of-the-art location near their Calabasas home and merged forces with Ampleffied Studio West founders Dan Leffler, bringing 25 years experience and over 200 million records sold, and singer/songwriter Sharon (Shaz) Amos to include a full-service music production and film composition studio on the campus.
Westlake Village resident and award-winning comedian/producer Craig Shoemaker brought his media company and non-profit organization, Laughter Heals, into the mix earlier this year with a shared vision of partnering with like-minded individuals who have a passion to make a “positive impact in entertainment” and “move Hollywood west to the Conejo Valley”. The team currently has more than 30 projects in development and pre-production.
